The lens makes it easier to see small objects more clearly with enlargement of the field of view. Fits C-Mount type mounts, mainly used to connect any CCD camera or digital eyepiece to the microscope. The opposite end for the microscope input is 23mm which is the diameter of most standard microscopes, and 30mm adapter for professional or stereo microscopes.
