Planetary Filter Kit for Telescope
Very useful to improve the view on the Moon, planets and deep space, obtaining more details from subtle to dramatic.
They can make the difference between seeing several small craters on the floor of Clavius on the Moon, seeing five or six eddies in Jupiter’s belts; or see the inner Crepe Ring of Saturn.
Planetary color filters are made from the purest optical glass and multi-coated for superior performance. Each filter cell has a 1.25” (FINE) thread and is sized to mount on top of the lens in coarse thread eyepieces (Basic Telescope).

- Moon & Skyglow filter. Neodymium glass, reduces light pollution (lights) and improves contrast on planets by perceiving intact natural colors, increasing the darkness of the sky (black) to increase brightness in deep space.
- Filter No. 82A. Very useful in bright galaxies, particularly in frontal spirals. Also excellent in lunar detail in high glare conditions.
- Filter N.56. It enhances the view of the polar ice caps on Mars and increases the contrast of the Great Spot on Jupiter, as well as the contrast in cloud patterns on Venus.
- Filter N.21. Sharpens Saturn’s bands, dimming bands and blue polar regions. It also reveals features on Mercury and improves definition in dust tails and comet heads.
- Filter N.23A. Increases the definition of blue clouds on Jupiter and Saturn. Excellent for ice sheets, channels, and dust layers on Mars.
- Filter N.12. The favorite for Mars and Jupiter, accentuating blue and green areas. It also enhances low contrast areas on Uranus and Neptune.
