Description

The darkfield condenser is used to differentiate translucent specimens from surrounding materials of different refractive indices. The condenser’s darkfield patch creates a hollow cone of light, resulting in edge-lit specimens, while the field remains dark. This is commonly used with blood and mineral tests. This condenser is designed to work with compound microscopes with a 37mm bottom mount condenser bracket.
