Quasar Binoculars from the Venture line with 60mm Objectives to gather serious light (30% more than 50mm objectives), with a powerful 20x zoom and extra wide 26mm eyepieces for superior performance in terrestrial observation and ideal for astronomy in a size that remains compact.
This Quasar QV60 binocular is the largest and most powerful of the handheld binoculars. They’re also great for mariners and surveillance applications. It includes the best broadband FMC (Full Multi Coated) coating, for maximum possible light transmission and prevents light loss due to reflection, providing the highest possible level of efficiency.
The wide 26mm effective eyepieces allow for excellent interpupillary distance and unrivaled visual comfort, further enhanced with its exclusive rubber “Fold” cup to work optimally even with glasses and avoid unwanted light rays, providing the best relief to your eyes.
Like any good high-performance binocular, the diopter adjustment is on both eyepieces, its correctly sealed BAK4 prisms and Quasar-quality achromatic crystals will achieve amazing views from the first observation. The strength of the body of the QV60 binocular is covered with a non-slip “Rugged rubber-armored” lining with an internal metal body, to resist intense weather and light knocks without adding great weight.
HOW FAR CAN I SEE?
The Zoom of the Qv60 is 20x, that is, an object located at 1000 meters can be seen at approximately 50 meters. Example: 1000m/20x=50m. This formula can vary depending on the size of the object and the amount of light hitting it.
WHAT DOES 20×60 MEAN?
20x is the magnification and 60 is the main aperture in millimeters. With less magnification and more aperture the images will be brighter and more contrasty. At higher magnifications it is normal for the image to appear slightly darker and the field of view is reduced.
CAN YOU SEE IT AT NIGHT?
All binoculars are good for seeing at night, as long as enough light reaches the observed object. With a 60mm aperture, in Astronomy you can see the Moon, Stars, main Planets and some bright nebulae and galaxies such as Orion and Andromeda.
ARE THEY NIGHT VISION?
No son visión nocturna. To see in total darkness, you need infrared light and a camera that converts this light into an image, something similar to security cameras.
ITS OPTICAL QUALITY?
The optics, design and details of the Binocular have been manufactured and tested by the same manufacturers of the same commercial brands, but with the quality and durability of the Quasar equipment they exceed the expectations of any observer without paying mo
