The SV198 can be used as a high-end guide scope, finder scope, and small astronomical telescope. Or use it as a large comfortable scope to spend less time looking for objects in visual observation. It can be perfectly focused with a regular 1.25-inch overhead mirror and illuminated eyepiece without adding a multiplier.

The scope features 50mm aperture SV198 with built-in dual helical focuser is known for its versatility and light weight. Together, they all make SV198 a perfect tool for guiding, searching and detecting. Full multi-coated achromatic glass provides excellent optical performance, making it excellent for both sharpness and colour. It could also be used as a right-angle correct-image optical finder (eyepieces and diagonal prism sold separately).
