Solar Doppler Tuning Knob:
Explore the intricacies and features present on the Sun in stunning detail using the exclusive true Doppler tuning pressure system (side black knob); this will allow the viewer to change their view of the sun with the finest of adjustments, simply by adjusting the pressure with a knob, adding a 3-D-like component to the viewing experience. It certainly has a normal effect on the prominences due to their location at the edge of the disk, but it has a greater effect on the filaments and also on the active regions of the surface. Additionally, while looking at a filament in the center of the Sun, the user has the ability to do a Doppler shift from the base of the filament to the tip. In this way, follow the filament through your structure towards you and away from you. Surprisingly, this allows for greater visual and imaging capabilities for the observer, as well as a research tool for the avid hobbyist In addition, the pressure adjustment system provides an order of magnitude more precision in setting the desired characteristics.
